Like a couple of renegade turkeys, we are flying the coop (are turkeys kept in coops? probably not) and heading to California for a week.
We fly out of JFK this afternoon, and there is still much to be done. Like packing. See y'all in a week :)

holidays are great, only bad thing is that they eventually have to end and then you have to wait around until the next one
